One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

Thank you, Mirian. I shared this to get the word out.

Friends, your fearless host is slow in getting around to the blogs this week and has apparently resorted to talking about herself in the third person. No intervention required YET, and never fear, she is still here and will be reading your poems!

I just linked my tanka I wrote for an image prompt and am going to read now. I don't know if you noticed but I've been absent a lot lately. Just been a little down in the dumps and not doing as much linking although I've been writing. I can't believe summer is over it went by so fast! I hope you have a good week!

The last few times I've linked my poetry has been ignored. Only 2 people visited this time. I have visited yours. Not like the Toads at all. Are my links working?
